Good Poetry?
Here lies a little gold, no rhyme or reason to it, no theme, just a feeling that this is good. Proud of it; happy to put it here? Thing is though that here lies some feedback of an honest nature. The question is do we like it? Will we have little or lots to say of it, singing a praise or pointing out the lacks? This is for a mature poet who is unafraid of honest feedback. If you don't like it or you can't handle it, don't post here. Any troubles of an emotional nature and your stuff is removed.

So far, it seems like most of the poetry on this site is written by people who have essentially no training in poetry writing, or at least have not taken any writing/workshop classes. The poetry I've read in this project and others like it has been mostly vague, too abstract, cliche, and often reaching for a level of poesy that is a little over-dramatic. Has anyone here taken classes about poetry writing or anything of the sort?

Hey this is great and thnks for your submissions so far. I would like to remind one and all (myself included) to be kind enough to review the other work here it is helpful. Also I would like to see honesty reign in this place. For example see the first review on my "Raven" It was not a positive review but it was very helpful to me.
