Lou and his teenage girlfriend Maggie go on a killing spree throughout Nebraska. They do however get caught and one victim's mother will stop at nothing to see Lou get more than the death penalty while Lou's mother tries to get her son's life spared. Soon Maggie and Lou start to turn on each other.
