What’s more American than staging a good old fashioned publishing revolution on the 4th of July? Celebrating with ice cream, of course! In honor of WEbook’s inaugural voting cycle (http://www.webook.com/Project-Vote), WEbook is declaring the 4th of July “Ice Cream Independence Day.”
Be a part of the fun. Invent a new flavor: a name, a yummy ingredient combination, and a winning rationale for why your flavor is the perfect sweet salve for the aspiring writer in all of us. If the community rates your flavor as a winner, WEbook will mail you and two friends a gallon of your visionary flavor. More importantly, thousands of visitors to Giffords Ice Cream & Candy Company in Washington will have a chance to get a free scoop of your special creamy confabulation at WEbook’s Ice Cream Independence Day celebration.
Whether you’re a DC denizen or not, you’re welcome to play along. If you happen to be in the DC area for the July 4th festivities, drop by Gifford’s on E Street on July 4th for free WEbook cone day.
As a reminder, your submission should include a snappy name for the flavor, a list of ingredients, and – most importantly of all – the reason your flavor just drips the spirit of the writer, especially the WEbook writer! Less
