If I Could I Would....
Finally all those "could have" "would have" "should have's" that have been lingering restlessly in the back of your mind, have a place to come alive!
However unrealistic your dreams may appear to the outside world, or even to yourself, here in "If I Could I Would" they are safe to soar the infinite possibilities of human imagination.
So close your eyes, take a deep breath and let your imagination lead the way…and who knows, If you would have...
you COULD have....

Everything is possible. If you want something, fight for it and you'll get it. If I could make 4 of my dreams true, I'd be truly happy.
I'll probably write a chapter for this, cause I have plenty of ideas... :))

Thanks ever so much for the invite.
I joined some time ago, but I'm a horse and get started on so many other projects, so I haven't been here to see what's on.
I will post soon, but will leave you with
"if you can, you will"

Profound! I can close my eyes, take a deep breath and always remember that I could have!
I like this, I have to give it some thought, but inspiration will not be far off.
Thank you so much for the invite. I will write something and post it up pretty soon. It's a really good idea. Sounds really creative.
I was thinking about this for quite some time now,
lot to think about. Thanks for inviting me.

I think this is a great question. I have thought about this before, and I made the mistake of voicing what I thought and I was told that I was "crazy" and then I was told that I should live in the here and now. Since, you now asked the question I have to think about it, I'm sure you'll get a lot of response.
Thanks,

i have already written a story , but since your point of view rests on a rather perplexing puzzle ' if i could i would ' , now there are many probabilities , it depends on what one actually desires to do and how he/she wants to achieve it , if it rests in-between somewhere the person simply has to be dreaming , so you clear point number 1 , next- thing is if you can achieve all that you dream , there are some constraints , it is easy to dream but the actual deeds may be scary in real life , somethings may simply remain dreams . may be if you are reckless you can perform all that you dream and in the end face the consequences . There are so many possibilities in such an open idea, this empowered (and possibly empowering) 'what if' exercise.
Initially, it's tempting to want to go back and right certain 'wrongs' from one's past. But that notion's been done to death and doesn't really serve to express deeper thoughts that are cultivated from experience.
I look at my place in the world and hope that my being here will beget positive things. In that regard, the ideas that come to mind when contemplating the 'coulda/shoulda/woulda' lean towards making a positive contribution to the world.
I would like to invent an empathy generator - a device which emits powerful (but harmless) waves that stimulate peoples' brain centers where compassion and sympathy are located.
People around the world would suddenly care about others and be overcome with a desire to help those in need. War and greed would vanish, replaced with kindness and compassion.
In a way, an empathy generator would actually be an 'anti-evil' generator. They say money is the root of all evil, but that's wrong. The real root of all evil is selfishness.
Greed is a direct extention of selfishness, wanting more for yourself than others. All evil - the seven deadly sins, etc - boils down to people caring most about themselves and foresaking others.
Once people learn to care for one another, everybody will find true happiness and there will finally be peace on earth.
I think that's lofty enough for now. Thanks!

sounds interesting I will have to think about wether or not to write anything here or not. If not I wish you luck.
If I could I would . . . read all day in my jammies. I would not be intimidated to write. I would have more family and friends here. I would be able to sleep. I would . . .
Thanks for letting me get some of that out. Refreshing idea. Makes me think about what I SHOULD have done.
