Issues (incomplete)
Issues is about me. I have a three person conversation with myself so its me, the good conscience, and the bad conscience. The three of us are talking about what I got to be taken as a talented emcee in today's rap. We exchange conflicting words at each other which adds to the bit of intensity to the story. The story may be a bit confusing when you first read it being that its written in script form but its like a rap also.

I start off the conversation saying that today's rap and hip-hop listeners are not going to understand or listen to what I'm trying to say. Basically, I'm talking down on myself a bit because I don't have what it takes to succeed in normal rap standards. Then, Confidence, the good conscience, comes in and gives advice to put me back on my feet. Next thing you know, Self-Doubt, the bad conscience, starts flipping out about how I'm scared of showing my full potential and "psyching" myself out.
The conversation starts to get heated as we break down the ups and downs of my being. Old subjects from not going to regionals to writing about my funeral and suicide are brought up and how they reflect off of me. After the words have been exchanged, I start to realize I can use my good and bad side to succeed in what I love to do most. Now its left unfinished.
Anyway, I hope anybody on here gets the chance to read this story. Less
