GIVE FEEDBACK
I think this story has serious potential. Your style is great. Great voice and tone. It needs to be teased out more, though. I felt like the ending was a little indulgent. There were no obstacles, everyone just got what they wanted without having to put up a fight. And I want to know more about all the characters. I felt a little like I'd been robbed of the setup and just got the punchline. I think if you would go back and add more depth and detail, give more background, basically just deepen the plot and make it longer, this could be an AWESOME book.
I'd read it, and I'm not even into gay/sci-fi themes. Seriously, you have some awesome characters here, and a really unique voice. You should take this to some kind of workshop and turn it into a novel.

You know, most vampire lore says vampires turn to dust in the sunlight... obviously this is your story, you make the rules. So really, just for your information.
I don't know. What ever you think? I never thought about that, but this story is fantastic. Sequels are tricky. They have to live up to the first, but you, I think you could do it if you set your mind to it. I think if you publish this, everyone would read it. Especially in La Porte, Indiana. I know many friends who would read this.
Thanks! Nope, that's the end. I was considering writing a sequel but I feel like that might ruin it. I'm not sure yet.
