It has been a difficult journey. Without my writings it would have been harder still; without you, it would have been impossible.
This is a look at the aftermath of rape. I have always written poetry as a way of coping with life. Its not Keats, Tennyson or Shakespeare but its the truth behind the rollercoaster of emtions I experienced.

How LIBERATING it must be for you to know that through the pain inflicted on you, other people find HOPE. How VALIDATED all your emotions, thoughts, words, tears must be now that you've shared yourself with the world.
You are a light in the dark. This compilation should be passed out in high schools far and wide.

I voted for this project its good to see a victim not give into pain. God bless your healing. never let trash like this guy destory your self respect. be true to yourself life will heal what times hurts. Good life mike the voice. A long happy journey .

I'm not a fan of multiple Rhymes in poems, nonetheless I feel that these are from a place of truth; your truth. And because it stems from powerful dark event in your life, these poems are a tribute to your continuance towards a path of healing. Burn in this light, it is yours to radiate in. Wonderful.

This is one of the first books of poems I've read every word of every poem. Each poem has such incredible passion behind it, you put feelings that almost everyone has into words.

This is incredible. "Lost Innocence" is the first poem I've been able to write about my experience, and it happened over 5 years ago. I hope to be able to open up more and share my experience to provide hope for others in our situation. You're quite inspiring.

Hi, I just started writing a book on this. It sounds like it is going to be great. Mine is not poetry, just a look at how I have changed so drastically. I can't wait to read through. My rape and torture was 10 years ago. I have only started to heal this past year. I hope I can get something out of your writings as well.

I love the idea... I also had .. experiences along that line and wrote alot about it when I came to the age where I really understood what it all meant.
