Good idea...I too am from a large family. Lots of halfs etc.

I would like to know how you define "normal" family size and "large" family size. Is this based on current research, your personal experience, families that define themselves as "larger than normal", or something else?

This is so perfect, I myself have 6 children, and my eldest will be seven this December. I have two sets of twins both sets are boys. The pros are we have a lot of love, the cons are we are always broke and no matter what there always seems to be at least one of the babies (my twins are 3 and 2) has managed to poop and need a change when i am trying to cook or clean. Thank you so much for inviting me to this.

This is a wonderful idea. I come from a large family and have been trying to trace my ancestors.
I want to let my children know as much as I can about my family and save stories and photos for them. I don't want them to have to do what I'm doing now when they get older, simply because no one ever told them about where they came from.
I would be interested in reading what you have to say about large families.
