He's gay. She's bulimic. At 24, they're both living the legacies of their lives.

A life is ended. It is a death with consequences - the bitter end of a relationship, a vengeful flirtation with drugs, another life almost ended, and a friendship of sorts that drifts apart.

Two young Sydney-siders are making it through each day, faced always with the reality of their own histories - his, a life of sexual identification and religious rejection; hers, a lifetime of abuse, scars, and plummeting self-esteem. Can they live with the legacies of their past?
