A writer,more than anybody else,knows the power of a dream,of Imagination,of hope.It is what fuels the will to write our thoughts down.
We all know the power that a thought can induce in a person,that it can cause the physical,to overcome the odds.Thats the reason I am here today.
You too have a chance to give a child hope with the talent in you.
This project is dedicated to giving hope to an African Child.

This is such an amazing project. I hope that you receive enough submissions for publishing the book to be an option. We think about Africa as a country and as a population but I don't think about the individual faces enough. To actually consider that there are people my age and younger who have been so impoverished is a heavy thought.

An idea for a book: I think it would be mutually beneficial to have a collection of letters from children in America writing to children in Africa. That way, the kids here can learn awareness while children in Africa can receive some uplifting and encouraging words.

Again, I hope to see this project evolve and turn into something marketable. It would be an amazing thing to give the proceeds to a charity that does humanitarian work in Africa.
