Letters from a Dead Man

A warm glow began to seep through the open windows the over looked the western horizon. The heavens slowly brightening, brilliant shades of crimson, gold, and lavender encroaching upon the once dark sky. Only the brightest of the night stars were still visible, shining down on the solemn world in silent defiance of daybreak.
