Steve, I enjoyed reading these.  I know we all can relate to the vain desire to get some sleep that you portrayed in Insomnia, and I thought Kaliber's Playday was a good choice to lighten the mood from the other two, more somber poems.

From a purely poetic standpoint, Hyperglycemia is my favorite simply because you took on such a difficult format and pulled it off in an interesting way.

Insomnia definitely strikes a chord with me!  The amount of nights I have had to just get up, because I can't bear waiting for sleep to come!

General:
Well at least I have a better grasp of where some of your imagery comes from.  Sleep deprivation can conjure some extremely vivid and intense psychological moments.

These are very well-written pieces that give a very real sense that the author is writing from personal experience.  It's one thing to write what you know, it's quite another to be able to convey it in such a way that those who do not know gain understanding.  That's what you do here. 

I would gladly support any of these for publication but my personal favorite is Insomnia as it has the more stark, edgy feel about it that I love.
