I finally picked my three. Many of you have already read these -- thank you for your input!!!
GIVE FEEDBACK
I like all of these. I remember reading Dr. Seuss to my child. You did a wonderful job at imitating his rhymric with yours. The playfulness as a child brought back long ago memories that I had pushed way back in my head.
The Change of Heart at first the imagery gave me a very menacing plot but then I realized it was far different than what I was thinking. It was a joy when read the second time.
I voted yes.

I think we can all identify with your appreciation of Dr Seuss. Who doesn't like a whimsical rhyme here and there? I like the silly way that you rhymed some of the lines, and I think it flowed well. I like how you sort of adapted a little bit of his style but maintained your own voice, and I think that the overall message was meaningful. Beautiful story, fun poem. =)

Fantastic!
Especially enjoyed Change of Heart, and To Dr. Seuss. So different, and both so enjoyable.
Imagery:
Breathless wonder!
Musicality:
Dr. Seuss would be pleased with the lyrical nature of your tribute to him.

I enjoyed all three of these. "To Dr. Seuss" is whimsical and heartwarming; "Rock Canyon" lifted my spirits; and "Change of Heart" - well, I only hope I have occasion to write something similar one day...
A resounding yes vote from me.

Especially liked Dr Seuss as this was outstandingly creative and imaginative. Was a little disappointed with the other two by comparison.
Dr Seuss won the vote on its own.
Good luck with the vote!

I especially liked To Dr. Seuss, but all three are great. Ten thumbs up.

Absolutely. Without a doubt.
I am always moved by "To Dr. Seuss".
As I've said before, that kind of writing takes skill and you have a great deal of it.
It's no fluke. One only has to read the other two poems to see you are the genuine article.

General:
totally for publish. Love "Change of heart." Specially these lines, Your kisses didn’t stop my heart
Or leave me, weak-kneed and wilted,
Frantically scrambling for my dignity
While toppling headlong
For the millionth time"
I love that poem.
Tone:
I like how the first stanza though there's sadness has that hope feeling/tone to it, and by the 2nd stanza its gone, its turned a bit dark. And by the 3rd stanza the tone kind of changes to a matter of fact type.
Really good job. And i love how you change the tones, but in the end they go along really good.
Best Wishes-
Ana

Wow! I am stunned into awe. These, each and every one so different with a different mood for each were wonderful. But, the first one is my fave and it moved me to smiles all the way through. Again, wonderful.
