Sorry but this blurb is too long, shorten it down - it should be short and snappy to get my attention after reading half of that i got bored. you need to have a think of how much you want to reveal this early on and how much you want the reader to discover for themselves. The more you hold back and gradually allow to trickle into the story the more intrigued people will be
