Your collection certainly has heart, but lacks (for the most part) concrete images to really establish that passion. I think where you do try to use images it is ineffective because you are telling us and not showing. It is assumed that we know what artifacts look like, or even a ship sinking. But consider mentioning the spray of the ocean as it consumes the mast and flag....something to that extent. If you try to add things like that, these will become much more powerful.
