My goal here is to show that poetry can be used to express everything...not just love and angst, but humor, observations, opinions, you name it.  You'll find here examples of traditional poetry formats, as well as carefully crafted open verse.  I hope anyone who reads this not only enjoys themselves, but learns a little about poetry too.
