This is just a cool little exercise. Hopefully, it will help some break a block, start a fun new short, or try writing something they've never done before.

Every week or so, I will post three new prompts (Basically, a fun/odd/cryptic first sentence that gives you a character, some sort of setting, and an event.) Then, you pick one, making it your first sentence, and then work from there, allowing the story to unfold in any way it chooses to. There is no word limit, but if it is going to be a rather long piece (1000 or more) try and break your piece into parts. That way, your feedbackers will have breaks and can giv eyou more specific critics :) Have fun with this!

Like viewing a cloud in the sky, an ink blot, or an odd piece of nature, we all have our own uniques interpretations. I know everyone is going to see the same thing here.

***NOTES***
I want to be able to do different excercises here as well so we don't have to do prompting all the time. So, every now and then I will introduce something new and also some exercises you guys can do at home that will assist with the writing you are already doing. Also, if anyone has exercises that they enjoy doing, please let me know and I will introduce those into the project as well!
