Rangerguys is about a young group of rebels and their adventures together. As the book opens, each character is introduced while they are still in grade school. One faction of the boys, our heroes, are members of a club called Rangerguys, a name they borrow off the picture of a little league dugout. Each has a different interest and talent and has personal issues they must overcome. These talents and issues follow them throughout their life which is doumented in the book. There is also a group of girls who call themselves Buckettes. They name themselves this because they want to be Ohio State cheerleaders when they get older. The Buckettes and Rangerguys grow up together and spend the rest of their lives together while fending off a group of antagonists who are referred to as HASP(Humans Against Sensible People). The leaders of HASP Jaqclyn Mehoff, Carl Wad and their supporters look to derail the Rangerguys and Buckettes and their quest for fame in later years in the Rock and Roll industry.
The Rangerguys and Buckettes are simply looking for the next party and wondering obliviously through life when they meet up with a stranger from their youth named Kozmo. Kozmo believes his mother has fallen victim to an alien chicken race from the Cosmic Quan from outer space. Kozmo's dmise was caused by her evil non look alike twin, Jaqclyn Mehoff. Once the Rangerguys meet up with Kozmo outside a Chicken restaurant after a night of partying, everyone's life changes and the quest to find Kozmo's mother begins.
Rangerguys is  a hilarious story about living on and over the edge of society. The events are sensational, yet almost believable, and the characters are either beloved or hated.
When you've finsished the book, you'll find you're merely at the beginning.  Less
