SHEILA'S MAGIC WAND

"The Good Fairy may be gone, but her magic will live on forever, as long as we believe." Sheila was the "good" fairy to all who were fortunate enough to know her. She was my cousin, but more like a sister. She was a kindergarten teacher but more like a friend. She was a mother but more like a mentor. And her attitude toward life was positively spell binding.

Sheila Strunk taught kindergarten for thirty five years. She believed in empowering children to make their own magic. Sheila was famous for having a "magic wand" which she carried everywhere she went. She waved it to turn frowns into smiles, tears into laughter and disappointment into hope. This is my favorite story. It combines so many lessons that every family should have access to. Positive thinking is the most important quality to have and one that will make a difference in children's lives.

This is an author with a good spirit and a good heart! I would recommend this story to be a part of the continuum of care given to patients and their familly, friends and co-workers who all love and support those patients. Beautifully written with a sensitivity that shows a powerful expression of love and support on every page!

I thought you did a great Job with this. I have a babysitter named sheila and the way you explained your sheila in the story i got sheilas image in my head. reading this book gave me chills becuase it was so powerful with if everyone were like this our world would be close to perfect Amazing Job Aunt Jayne :-)
