Will Iris make it through?

"Tell me where he is!" The man yells in anger, slashing at my arms. My back raises off the concrete and I let out a long screech tears ran down my face. I scream again just cause of pain, of loss, of love.

Will Iris make it through?

"Tell me where he is!" The man yells in anger, slashing at my arms. My back raises off the concrete and I let out a long screech tears ran down my face. I scream again just cause of pain, of loss, of love. 
 Alex moved a couple months ago, cut off all communications and left. Only recently have I been able to talk to him. He wouldn't tell me where he was or why he left... Trying to protect me. But who ever was after Alex found out about me. And now, I don't know what to do.
 I catch my breath after panting for air.
"Even if I knew where he was I wouldn't tell you! You Bastard!" I spit. My voice dry and hoarse.
 "Then how do I know that you're not lying?" He asked coldly. Please Alex, help me, find me... He takes another swing at my arms. I cry out to nothing, and my scream rings in my ears.
 “No one can hear you! Alex isn't coming! He won't save you! Now where is he?!” He yells loudly.
“I don't know!” I sob. Please make it stop, make the pain go away... Alex, where are you?
