Rarely do we actually say what we want. Normally we say what we think others want to hear or just say something to be polite.
Here you firstly put what you said e.g. Hi nice to see you.... Then you follow it with what I meant to say Oh no not you again ! Got it.
The first bit should be fairly short no more than a couple of sentances.
The second part should start with what I meant to say and can be as long as required !
