                 *Synopsis*
The two Campbell sisters had a harmonious life until the outbreak of the Civil War.  Their father quickly joined the Confederates and raced off to war, leaving their sweet mother to run the plantation.  Soon their mother is over come with illness and the responsibilities fall onto the girls.  Then to top that off, the Union soldiers appear out of nowhere and take over their peaceful plantation.
        Union Captain William Cartor thought he was in for horrors when he entered the plantation because of all the terrible stories he heard as a child living in the North.  But when he entered the Campbell Plantation he found two young girls in charge of an extraordinary place he never knew existed. 
        Union First Lieutenant Nathaniel Sterling entered the plantation ready to face whatever they would find.  He did not expect to find a place he would like to call home, nor someone who matched his own courage and daring every step of the way. 
                     These four incredibly different people are swept into a serious of events that they never thought they were possible.  But Nathaniel had a secret; a secret that could destroy all of their happiness’s.
