Sarin, creator and leader of the Vampiric race, has been alone for thousands of years as he is the last of the Immortals, beings who existed long ago and created much of the universe, that is until he finds her, his one true love. Rayne is her name and in Sarin's eyes, she is the most beautiful creature to have ever been created. They instantly fall in love. They travel to a world where Sarin and the rest of the Immortals kept their darkest secrets. It is here that Sarin proposes to her, knowing full well that their meeting was not by coincidence, it was fate. They were meant to be together. However, as soon as the ring touches her skin, she is engulfed in a cocoon of light. Eventually the cocoon fades away and they realize that Rayne has been turned into an Immortal as well so that they may live out their lives together, joyful and happy. They are soon married and travel once more to the beautiful planet of Zuatha. It is here that they save a wolf pup by giving it Immortality as well.
All seems well and joyful, at least until, Rayne's father returns badly injured after being attacked by humans who have begun an all out slaughter on the eastren border of Venalorafin, the Vampiric nation. Rayne barely has time to say goodbye before her father soon perishes, but there is hardly any time to mourn for his passing as things begin to get more complicated. A war is about to rage and they have lost all contact with their allies, the Elves, the Dargons, and the Werewolves. Now Sarin and Rayne must set out to reestablish contact with them and ask for their aide, but something dark and sinister looms on the horizon, an ancient being returns to seek his revenge. Can Sarin and Rayne help save their friends and family from complete annihilation or will everything they know and love be destoyed. Battles will be fought. Old powers forsaken.
