General:
If you don't have spellcheck, then you might want to proof the work before submitting it. Better yet, have a friend do it. Watch for grammatical errors.
Plot:
Simple enough, some of the dialogue could have been a little more elaborate, maybe even condensed a little.
Character Development:
Not sure on this, I see bits and pieces but feel you ned to nail them right up front.
Tone/Voice:
A little more juvenile for my liking. We both are avid NASCAR fans. I was in racing years ago and draw my stories from those experiences.
