TIPS & TRAPS (of the Trade)
I don't know all the tricks of the trade. I've never met anyone who did. That said, I do know a few, and I'll bet you have some good ones as well. Why not share them, here? Whether you are a High School Poet or a Pulitzer Prize winner, whether you write one-liners or series novels, you can always learn. More importantly, you can TEACH what you know. Right? Write!
GIVE FEEDBACK
Ouch! Maybe true, but a little blunt, y'think? I don't think he meant to yell . . .
Not only is writing in all upper case considered to be yelling but also the injunction to "Write from the heart not from your education..." really has missed the point of an education, which is highlighted by the misspelling of the word, common, in DavidGoodwin's feedback below. Perhaps DavidGoodwin has to tell people to "Write from the heart..." because he lacks the education to do otherwise. The best writers draw upon the resources of both emotion and education.

Writing in all caps is yelling. Just because you are to lazy to capitalize doesn't make it okay to type in all caps.
