General:
OMG. This was so amzing so far and I am only on the tenth chapter!!

Plot:
Well though out :)

Character Development:
Can be a little more detailed. REALLY GOOD.

Structure:
Chronological order is a good choice for this piece.

Tone/Voice:
This tone/voice was a bit depressing but triumphant in my view. Thanks :D

Lost - if it hadn't been for you mentioning it, I wouldn't have thought anything about it. As Ayden_Bennett said, we all get inspiration from somewhere.

If you happen to think about it, every idea had to start somewhere. As long as the writing captivates the reader, I really have no problem where the inspiration, and/or material came from. After all, what would this world be without people to admire others works? Our motivation and creative process comes from words unspoken.

If you're like, OMG she's coping The Hunger Games, I'm not! The ONLY thing they have in common with this book is that this is in the future of the USA and there is an evil president. Everything else is different. :D
