In the spirit of Kerouac, Ginsberg, Eliot, and William S. Burroughs, this project is about keeping The Beat Generation screaming.
The writers of the Beat Generation might all be dead from liver damage and suicide, but their words and movements are far from being finished. Their stream of consciousness, dipping in and out of structure, and wide spectrum of themes (from observing nature, to people watching, to violent political ideas), make the words of the beats strong and unique.

This project is simply an experimental zone to toy with the style of the beats, understand their momentum that exists within their writing, and try to apply some of that incredible energy to the modern generation's thoughts and perspectives. Let's play with the Beats.
Most of all, do something, anything, and don't stop doing it. Meaning, start writing, and if it's weird, make it weirder, and that'll be okay. Don't think about it being great. Just follow the beat. Also, feel free to discuss anything in the idea-related group: "Beat it."
