The Bone-Fly Files

This collection is based on a dream-image that stuck in my head one morning. An artist friend has been working on painting the cover ever since. It's an unusual start to a project in some ways, but I've always liked to keep things happening organically, so we'll see where this goes.

This is a dream come true in an abstract sense. Based on a dream image that has stuck in the author's mind, this collection of free-verse and prose poetry gathers together images of opposite polarity. Focusing on the ways that stark contrasts can remind us of the most fundamental truths, and allow us to see between the shadows, these poems are meant to turn around two basic images.....bones and butterflies.
