 When someone you love so dearly dies it causes such catastrophic grief that for some can be paralyzing, as was the case for me when my dear sweet daddy died.  When someone you love so dearly dies it causes such catastrophic grief that for some can be paralyzing, as was the case for me when my dear sweet daddy died. I spent allot of time alone pondering my regrets and pushing the people I loved the most away, until one night,when I lay in my bed crying, feeling as if the world was crashing down around me.Suddenly and out of nowhere I said aloud," I give up Lord." My life is yours." Tell me what you want me to do." At the very moment that I uttered those words, a great feeling of peace came over me.The kind of peace that I had never known before.
The next day I had the urge to write my feelings on paper, thinking that it would help me to sort the good in my life from the bad. To my amazement the words seem to write themselves, it was as if they had always been there just waiting for me to claim them.I had never written a verse nor a rhyme before that time yet now it seem come so easily to me, so I compiled a bunch of poetic verses that describe the way I was feeling throughout my grieving process, and while these pieces may not appeal to anyone else ,they have awakened my spirit to a part of me that I had never known.
