People say they have. They say they know what it's like, they say that they understand. They say they know what it's like to be me. They have no idea. Of course everyone says that you should walk in their shoes, to understand. That no-one will ever know what it's like. People should pity them. People should sympathise with them. People should give them the time and day, they should give them their life just to listen to a sob story. I never ask you to do this. I have never spoken out against the hate. I have never spoken a word against you as you have cut me down.

In the end, it's all just words. Words that lacerate.
So I'll say I'm sorry; I'm sorry for something I can't help... I'm sorry for being gay.

I didn't choose to be like this. It's just what they have made me.  Less
