Hey Challenge guys; I am hating and loving this particular challenge! Hate--I suck at summaries (at least ones that embody the shortness required of a summary) and have obtained what I think is the lowest star rating I ever got. Love--I can practice summaries. So, I am disinclined to start a project because no one ever jumps on (or group or etc), however I think it would be great if occasionally you would repeat this challenge, or set up a continuous challenge of this sort. Even without a prize. Just my two cents!

Annabelle Winston is a high ranked very respected girl. she is beautiful beyond means and cares what no one says. but what most peaple dont now about her is the fact that when she was a child her father got their family in debt. now to repay the man her father and now herself owe money to, she has to work under him. and to work under him means to do what she is told. and what she is told is to assasinate peaple. the richer the person was the more money she gets.
Josheph Nikes is a sophistacted undergraduated ex thief, technically. trying to finish his course in business he transfers to a university in England. as a side job, he use to steal from the rich peaple. and as a promise to himself he goes on one last job to Mike Shaw, a lord that is 8th in line for the throne.
what happens when the two clash? while she is trying to kill and he still... at the same house?
whats worse, is something evil and supernatural is after them. which is absurd and impossiable according to annabelle but real to Josheph.
what does he now about the unknown?

a romance,this on guy says to he rfirst lov will she marry him and when they do the woman disepears after a dip in the pool alon she hasn't com back in 10 days and he sent already 56 search teams out to find and bring her back safley to him but the last evidencd he found was her beaten up purse.....but what lies inside is mor than what he expects........

These two young ladies who grew up together as little children all the way through high school and has always hated each other and competed against each other for everything including a super jock named Duce, who is a pro football prospect, one girt from the projects, and one from the suburbs. he then later in life goes to the pros gets hurt and moves back home to own a small trucking company in which he drives for, meets back up with his wifes worst enemy, has an affair between runs, and at the same time he lives next door to his wife's arch enemy's mother, bothe ladies become pregnant at the same time, both give birt to little boys, who also grow up to be enemies, one becomes a cop, and the other a drug dealer, but niether knows their brother's

This book is about terrorist, and their discuss with star sports figures and the high volume of payment they recieve.
Plot:
The plot is and attempt to terrorize the avarage fan and detour them from attending any proffessional sporting event, by blowing up the arena to a basketball playoff game in order to cancel the world championship, by even more bomb threats, and also the biggest game of all the superbowl where the F.B.I frantically try and uncover the perps, before the superbowl, and the world series, and the N.B.A. championship, where a hand full of professional sports stars help to uncover the perps, and the avarage learns about how it would be without any peofessional sports in america. all the arenas, and football stadiums, and baseball diamond are empty no fans and a major lost of money.

A home is a place for a person to feel at easy, relaxed and safe. A house is an important shelter necessary for all to live. The house on Wasson Street is no exception. But, strange happenings have cause a bit of a worry for the people living in Meadow Falls. Three separate tales weave into a tapestry of the unknown when the house on Wasson no longer acts as a home, but as a portal beyond. A triptych of three peoples lives jarred by the aura of that house. The Wasson Street Triptych stands to defy the feeling of 'there is no place like home.'

Mine is about four teen-agers who are trapped within a realm.
Plot:
Where the imagination comes to life, follow your heart and power as you travel through the lives of two extremely different families who reunite to escape the tragic moments in their memory. A group of unexplainable people, known as the "Corrupted", have a certain part to seal their memories and skills. It came upon one day as they went to explore and found a mystical material. They all called it, "oynide", the only stone able to penetrate the deepest and darkest enemies whom ever came across. But it became too powerful. Within a matter of time, Lavacs, the leader, had sent four magical and incredible swords to help break the chaos. It came across that the families of Weldrig and Klonis have been chosen to accept their fate. In order to bring peace, they must encounter eight enemies of the Corrupted and destroy their souls. Only they can restore the tranquility to their towns, families, and even their worlds. As they find the understanding of their own techniques, the more close everyone gets to penetrate the Plonksi Temple Portal, the only exit to survival. Take an experiencing journey with Deon, Bronx, Mike, and Barry and release your mind to the ink. Will they all make it out alive or conceal their doom within the very fiber of their own souls?

Anthony and David have grown up together with the same rigid expectations from their parents. Over the years the brothers have discovered different ways to cope with the expectations. David continually achieves all he has dreams of in life while Anthony struggles with the pressure. Both brothers are of similar ages and have their eyes for the same girl, Lizzie. The three of them are a tight trio growing up in the same quiet hometown. As time passes both brothers are forced to make a decision which could tear their trio apart and change the foundation of their lives. Friendship and life are not always easy and sometimes force people to step into the skin of their true character.

I would just like to say that this challenge has been the hardest yet. Between my two entries, I'm being told to tell the whole story without telling too much of it, leave people guessing, write in the present tense but make it sound like it's not an excerpt from the body of the book. My head is reeling, trying to wrap my mind around getting this right. There need to be college courses just on getting this right.

They know that out of the hundreds of contacts on your cell, you can't recall one digit, especially when your days of freedom are numbered. If you’re lucky, you do chores for suburban masters. If you’re a beefy man like Steven McLeod, you go to a ranch pockmarked with slave plots. When the famished land takes a good slave, your masters might put a rock over its grave to bar the scavengers. In maybe 48 seconds after they take you, you learn that misery has a stench. It’s the stink that first cuffs you, smothers you, and drills all hope out your skull. Or maybe it’s the person who’s selling you to some decent folks in Texas that’s doing it to you. Work hard, slave. You’re in America.

A nature loving Mic Mac, aboriginal Indian, becomes conflicted when he has to kill a moose in order to win the right to marry the tribal woman he loves.
Plot:
Glooscap is the oldest unmarried male in his tribe. His parents are worried that he will never leave the home and start a family of his own. But his love for nature keeps him from killing the moose that will prove his manliness and ensure he wins a bride.
Character Development:
A timid Glooscap journeys, alone, into the wilds to find a moose and eventually summons the courage to make the kill.
Structure:
Told in first person as a flash back while Glooscap is in the midst of the hunt.
Tone/Voice:
Simple, poetic, aboriginal voice, including authentic Micmac wording.

This has been one of the best prompts yet because it's something we all need in order to be successful. Thanks so much for this contest. Maybe next time, we can post opening paragraphs to our WIPs, but whatever you choose will be wonderful. I've enjoyed every contest so far.

When Alex was five, she was taken from her home and trained to be a brutal and efficient killer. She is now the youngest and only girl ever admitted into the Oprinichi, a secret society of warriors, but she goes against the code and saves a life.

As punishment Alex is put on babysitting duty, much to her frustration. But she begins to uncover a conspiracy that would bring down the kingdom. I'm sixteen years old, starting my Junior year in high school. My goal for this year is to find someone to love, someone who would love me back with all my flaws. I wanted what I thought didn't exist in the twenty-first century, a prince with a halo of gold surrounding him, but what I wasn't prepared for was the truth behind the lunette eyes that found their way into my world.
The first day of school was always hard enough without being invaded upon by a bunch of weird newcomers, but the boy with the bronzed skin, who stood tall like the Eiffel Tower took my breath away. One bump into him on the sidewalk is all it took to start a different path for my life, one that would leave me fighting to keep my pounding heart within my chest cavity, and the beginning of a war between immortals and the sacred gift to an Indian tribe.
