These are the stories of various people, on first glance, would be sent to hell or purgatory, but an angel gives them one chance. One chance to go back in time, to do what ever would earn the right to ascend into heaven. These are the stories of the trials they go through. They must learn the value of human life, the value of human emotion, and the value of human sacrifice.
