The Wake

World War II, The Viet Nam War and hard times starts the beginning back drop for this dysfunctional family. Circumstances of upbringing, and life brings drama and diverse ways of solving problems for each person.

Beginning in the World War II, this dramatic family, broken and scattered are forced to come together to learn about themselves and the mother who started it all.  Rose LaCern started out as a teen, innocent and naive.  After a disappointing marriage, she developed into a pattern of living her life by chance.  The result of her wild choices were children of diverse heritage and values. In the later phase of life, dementia controls the development of the novel.
