The Fault and the Divide
Pakistan, 8th October 2005. A report on a local news channel fixated its attention towards a tower complex collapsing under its own weight, oblivious to the fact that miles away a whole generation was wiped off the face of the earth. A death toll touching tens of thousands would be recorded over the first few hours but the damages would exceed expectations. Hope would frail. In this test of time, a broken and desolate people is left to mend its own wounds.

I am sure once I am finished writing this account, people would start seeing Pakistan in a different light. I think for that one year after the disaster, Pakistanis, no matter what sort of men, forgot their agendas, good or evil, to unite and save their own kind. That too, when no other person or country cared much.
