Most of these poems were originally displayed on another site (FB mainly). Unfortunately, the community for poetry was not overly active, and I would like feedback, both good and bad, and constructive if possible.

This first Webook project is set up to contain my random poetic musings, and will not necessarily follow a particular theme. However, you may notice a dark (possibly Gothic) under-current in many of the works, and this is probably a reflection of my miss-spent youth listening to Iron Maiden, Grim Reaper, Crimson Glory, Dio, Rainbow, Black Sabbath and other such musical maestros. I haven't really grown up (I have now added Cradle of Filth, which could explain some of the work !!), and feel that writing poetry is a way of keeping a finger-tip grasp on my youth and staving off mid-life crisis for just a few more years.

This is the first real poetry I have written since leaving school (don't ask how many years ago that was please). Please read and enjoy, and if you don't enjoy I won't be at all offended if you tell me why.  Less
