The scents are strong in early spring. The circle of life continues. Elk return to raise and give birth to thier calves. The bears come out from hibernating with thier newly born cubs. And I am once again standing here,on a hill,watching life fill the meadows again. I walk to the river to take a last drink of the cold winter waters that flow down stream. That is what life was like before the fires,before the guns. The howls of wolves in desperation to save each other,to save thier homes and offspring. I myself was only a pup,but I saw everything men shouting as dogs came running,shots of guns and cries of pain. Only did I realise that, maybe we're not welcome in this world anymore.  Less
