GIVE FEEDBACK
Hey, I am new to the site...check out my novel that is an alt to Breaking Dawn...
It is called "Evening Star".
I discovered Twilight from my daughter whose obsession with a "really good book" and it peeked my curious nature. She offered it to me to read on Mother's day, saying I didn't have to do a thing all day, but read..and well, my obsession was born with every page. I could not believe a teen novel could be so telling...reminding me of every relationship I have had...so truthful and so remarkably real. And so wonderful.
Since I have discovered it, I have been inspired to write my own novel from the characters she has created. Originally I set out only to write a few chapters to tide my daughter and her friends over until the release of the final installment. Sort of picking up where she left off. I asked myself --what are the obvious events and things that need to be said to complete the tale. That was the initial intention...just some simple fan fiction fun. Maybe a fun read-a-thon sleep over. Nothing more.
But quickly the project became something else entirely, and well, a unique vision of a future for Bella and Edward has emerged and I have decided to share it with other lovers of Twilight.
I think one of the primary important themes in this book is one that is universally a challenge of our culture. Perhaps the saga of Bella and Edward, a romance of the finest most sublime variety will be a vehicle to explore other salient and vital issues facing us in the evolution of the human race.
Has all the intimacy of Twilight, plus mystery, romance, adventure, science and of course some surprises.
