"Voices Of The Spirit" is a collection of poems written by myself and some of my friends that is sure to touch your soul and provoke thought on many different issues.

I want this book to reveal the many faces of talent that exists on this web site. So I want each writer to bring his/her own creation on any and all topics that you feel would be of interest or of any topic that you feel needs to be addressed.

I have finally been able to get to this one. I got over seventy projects to get to. I am actually enjoying the reading I have been doing as well. I should be reading this one today or tomorrow. I see that it is closed so I hope you still would like for me to read it.

I have to agree with Alhadji. With respect, poetry is more than words that rhyme. Try to break away from rhymed verse and work on some of the other elements of poetry, such as creating powerful images through use of metaphor. One of the things I find dishonest about this forum is that it is made into a popularity contest. On the plus side, you may have a future in writing greeting cards...

No, I am not going to insult you with a comment like "great".
This poetry needs some personality. You have been through so very much over the years - so where is the real pain?
I just do not see it.
I could have written this myself after a life spent in great peace and safety!
Why not write down what it was really like?
With some hope in there too.
