OVERVIEW
As we bravely attempt to rediscover the potential of the dormant Australian and New Zealand Writers' Group, we might consider what resurrection means to each of us: Is it necessarily a religious phenomenon? Is the word to be taken literally or can it mean something other than returning from bodily death? Does resurrection have to be a world changing event or can it be as simple as a person rising to live a new day, and if so, are they necessarily the person they were when they went to sleep?
While the category of the project is set to fiction (I couldn’t work out how to pick multiple categories), poetry and even dramatic pieces are welcome from all of our existing members and any new ones any of us might herd into the group. So please bring to this project and group your thoughts and writings on resurrection for sharing, constructive critique and lively discussion, the only limitation being that your piece be somehow related to the topic.
Long live the Australian and New Zealand Writers' Group... again!
