...two years ago as an exercise in courage.  Due to the, at times extremely, personal nature of my poetry, I shared it only with family and close friends.  But, “Courage is the price that life exacts for granting peace” (Amelia Earhart).  Blogging has offered me peace where my poetry is concerned, and, in finding peace, I found the strength to reach for a new goal.

...two years ago as an exercise in courage.  Due to the, at times extremely, personal nature of my poetry, I shared it only with family and close friends.  But, “Courage is the price that life exacts for granting peace” (Amelia Earhart).  Blogging has offered me peace where my poetry is concerned, and, in finding peace, I found the strength to reach for a new goal.

Though Words Much Like Poetry is only a blog, my goal is to turn it into a literary magazine.  However, attaining that goal requires a lot, including a strong readership and writers willing to use it as a forum for their work.

The blog has featured several guest authors this year and for the second anniversary, we extended a call for submissions.  While that particular call has ended we are still looking for guest authors to feature.  Poetry and/or prose may be submitted to... muhu25@gmail.com (with "Attn: Words Much Like Poetry - Submission" in the subject line) or may be posted here.  The submitted poetry will be published on the blog in the course of the coming weeks.  Authors retain all rights and will receive due credit for their work.
