...sometimes I think the reason I pursue the search for increasingly sparce pickings on new expressions -and especially those condensed nuggets and rare diamonds- is simply that kind of half-mindless half-determined thing that gets you, sometimes after someone else brags a bit.  Searching for that never-found, never-satisfactory agate on that long stretch of pebble beach on a large lakeshore, each rock catching our eye and pulling our hand towards it in turn, bending our backs in indirect and unintentional bowing beneath the cloudy heavens against the backdrop of waves and crests, or sand dunes and pine forrest otherwise...
